Sunset Zoo's Winter Holiday Schedule
Sunset Zoo will be closed to the public December 24, 25, and January 1, 2009, in observance of the Winter Holidays.  Even with the doors closed the Keeper staff is on duty to ensure the animals are safe and well attended. Visit Sunset Zoo often and get away from it all!

Sunset Zoo is open 360 days each year. From November 1 through March 31, Sunset Zoo is open from noon - 5:00 pm.

Happy Chimp Year & Kids Free Admission in January
January 10 brings Sunset Zoo's winter enrichment with Happy Chimp Year!  This enrichment day will feature the Zookeeper and education staff, and the ways they promote the animal's physical and mental development.  Look for a schedule of activities to be released prior to the event.

Coming in January is Kids Free month at Sunset Zoo.   Kids 12 and under are welcomed to the Zoo's winter wonderland free during January.  To celebrate the unveiling of the new cheetah sculptures, Zoo guests will receive a free cheetah poster as supplies last.  Located next to the cheetah exhibit, the sculptures are a gift of the David Poole family and are available for public viewing.   

Looking for a Few Good Z.O.O. Crew Supervisors
Sunset Zoo is looking for a few good Z.O.O. Crew Supervisors who will supervise and educate youth participating in the Z.O.O.
