INDIANAPOLIS – Snoozers were losers as individual tickets for Zoobilation 2009 at the Indianapolis Zoo have sold out in a record time of five days. But determined party animals aren’t completely out of options to attend the city’s best black-tie event.
A limited number of Bronze Table packages are still available. The cost for a Bronze Table package is $3,000, which includes 10 Zoobilation tickets, a reserved table for 10, 20 Zoo general admission tickets, and recognition on the table signage and in the Zoobilation program. Sponsorships are also still available.

Over 70 restaurants are participating in this year’s event, to be held Friday, June 12, from 7pm to midnight at the Indianapolis Zoo. Zoobilation 2009, “A Night on Dragon Island,” presented by Indianapolis Power & Light Company, celebrates the arrival the summer time blockbuster exhibit, “Dragons of Komodo presented by Citizens Energy Group.” Guests groove to the sounds of nine live bands on four stages while sampling some of the city’s best food and beverages. All Guests at Zoobilation must be 21 or older.
Each year, Zoobilation raises more than a million dollars to support the care and feeding of the Indianapolis Zoo’s living collection of 2,000 animals and 6,000 plants. Zoobilation proceeds also support the Zoo’s internationally significant conservation and research projects.
