Presented by Dippin’ Dots and Macy’s

February 28, March 14 & 28, April 11 & 25

INDIANAPOLIS — Children can meet the stars from their favorite storybooks, television programs and movies at the Indianapolis Zoo! Story Time at the Zoo presented by Dippin’ Dots and Macy’s returns to the Indianapolis Zoo for five weeks beginning February 28, occurring every other Saturday from 9am until noon. Inside the Dolphin Gallery, visitors listen as the day’s story is brought to life by Moriah Music’s Cindy Baney. Guests meet the costumed characters from their favorite WFYI/TV20 shows and participate in fun hands-on crafts and activities. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera and come early to meet these delightful characters at the Indianapolis Zoo and record their children’s’ reactions to these close up encounters with Story Books that are brought to life!
Here is this year’s exciting lineup:

  • February 28 - Maya & Miguel
  • March 14 - Super Why
  • March 28 - Martha Speaks
  • April 11- Clifford
  • April 25 - Curious George

This event is free for members and included with regular Zoo admission.

Located in White River State Park downtown, the Indianapolis Zoo is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums and the American Association of Museums as a zoo, aquarium and botanical garden. The Indianapolis Zoo inspires local and global communities to celebrate, protect, and preserve our natural world through conservation, education, and research, and by providing an enriching and wondrous environment for our visitors and the animals in our care. Look for the AZA logo whenever you visit a zoo or aquarium as your assurance that you are supporting a facility dedicated to providing excellent care for animals, a great experience for you, and a better future for all living things.
